Houbara bustards
The UAE government has opened a Houbara reproduction center in Morocco to protect Houbara birds from extinction. According to the author "the cost of the programme has not been revealed"(Todorova, V. 2011). This was done because the numbers of birds are dwindling through last years owing to illegal human hunting and actions. The center has made plans and targets for birds, they work cautiously, from examining sperm samples, training, breeding the birds and raising the number of birds every season. According to the scientists the program has worked very well and the say the number of birds are increasing.
